Wedding Reception Decoration Ideas

To every woman, wedding is a very special moment in their life and each of them waits for this precious day. If you are a creative person or can consult someone who is creative, you can come up with many unique wedding reception decoration ideas. If you have ideas, you can decorate your own wedding reception, or you can take it as a part time job decorating wedding reception of other people.
While planning the decoration of a wedding reception, one must consider two things. First, importance must be laid on the theme of the wedding and secondly, it must be seen that the plan fits into the budget of the couple. You may like a particular idea, but it may not suit your budget. The popular themes are atmosphere under the sea, Romeo and Juliet, Japanese and South Korean style weddings, etc.
If your budget is limited, you can go for decorating the reception with cheap materials which are available in the crafts store. You may keep some cheap flowers or imitation ones in a vase filled with attractive colored stones that go well with the theme of the wedding. You can place them at the centre of each table covered with colorful table cloths. See that the color of the table cloth matches with the wedding theme.
Another great idea of decorating the reception is covering the tables with a piece of white cloth and you provide pen to the guests to write a word of wish or blessing to the couples. If you find that many children are going to attend the wedding, you can provide them with pencils, so that they can do some beautiful drawings on them. This will decorate the reception area and also make the day memorable both to the couple and the guests.
If anybody is getting married in Christmas, you can go for a Christmas theme for the reception. You can choose the color combination of the decoration as red, white and green. You can cover the tables with red cloth and put a small Christmas tree on every table. You can also provide matching colored napkins and serving sets which will give the reception a very attractive look. You can play soft Christmas carols as wonderful background music.
Candle is such a decorative item that it goes along with the atmosphere of every wedding, whether it is expensive or cheap. Candle decoration makes the atmosphere very romantic if it is an evening wedding and the reception hall is dimly lit. If you can add matching colored satin tablecloths and put some greenery there, it will make the wedding reception beautiful if the hall is large and there are many guests. Many colored candles are available for this purpose.
Other concepts that can make the decoration beautiful are use of rose petals. They can be decorated on the table or can be floated on a large pool of water. The decoration reflects a taste of the couple as budget cannot be a constraint for a beautiful decoration.
